Wow, what a fantastic experience, nothing short of fabulous in every way. We were asked about meal preferences prior to the tour, and advised where to meet and were to park. Our tour guide, Maggie was fabulous, she kept us well informed about the order of the day, what stops we would have, what was expected of us while on the Navajo tour into the canyon, and kept us well informed about the history of places we were driving through in a very personable manner. We were a small group, 3 couples in total, and another couple joined us for Antelope. There was more than enough time for our stop at horseshoe bend, with Maggie advising us in advance about physical exertion and effort required. Our picnic lunch was delicious, there were also snacks, drinks and water freely available on the bus. What a totally stunning day for the two most awesome experiences, the highlight being lower antelope canyon, and our Navajo guide Chastity, who did indeed, as Maggie promised, showed us what camera settings to use, how to take the best photographs and point out different views in the canyon. Definitely worth taking the tour from a superbly organized tour company, booked through TripAdvisor with Grand Canyon Adventures.

So lucky to have gotten the chance to see these gorgeous sites first hand Wasn’t too crowded and the guide at Antelope Canyon was wonderful. The tour was a little over an hour and we were in the lower canyon. Some walking down stairs is required so dress appropriately- flip flops not recommended. At Horseshoe Bend our guide let us on our own to take in the stunning views. Just wished we had more time. Please be smart and considerate of other visitors and stay away from the edges where there are no guardrails. It provoked so much anxiety in me seeing people take pictures dangling their feet I could not enjoy myself fully. But overall it was a chance of a lifetime. Thank you.

Dan from Grand Canyon Adventures was our guide both for the Antelope/Horseshoe and Grand Canyon tours over two separate days. He was fabulous both days with lots of local knowledge, explanations of the geology and history we were seeing, and all of the logistics around food, timing, ride comfort, etc. Whole process was very easy. The Horseshoe part of the tour was fascinating. The river bend is incredibly beautiful and inspiring. Even on a very cold day in Northern Arizona, the crowds were pretty big but 90% hung out in a small area at the end of a short hike to the viewpoint. If you were willing to walk 50 yards, the crowds vanished. The cliffs were very unprotected and I'm guessing there are a few fatalities each year from selfie efforts - if you had small kids, you would need to be very careful. I wish we had had a few more minutes to explore beyond the small viewpoint.
