We visited Antelope Slot Canyon and Horseshoe Bend with Grand Canyon Adventures in Flagstaff. We were a small group of 13 people. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was personable and knowledgeable, and on the 2 hour bus ride from Flagstaff to Page, she gave us a wealth of information about the history and terrain of the area we were passing through, as well as useful information and advice about the sites we were about to see. There were plenty of drinks and snacks on the bus and a tasty picnic lunch provided by the tour company. We visited Horseshoe Bend first, then went to Glen Canyon Dam and Visitor Center, where we picnicked on the visitor center's grounds. We then visited Antelope Slot Canyon for the 1:00PM tour. We were there a little over an hour, then we headed back to Flagstaff, with a stop at Cameron Trading Post for some shopping time. It was a fun day and very informative tour, with amazing natural wonder sites, and I definitely recommend it.

Scott, our guide and driver is very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and service oriented. This is a small group tour which is what i really liked about it. I also appreciate their complimentary drinks and good choices of snacks offered on the tour. Glad to join them on 2 full day tours : Antelope Canyon & Horeshoe bend and Grand Canyon. Was fortunate to have Scott on both tours. Highly recommend Grand Canyon Adventures to other travellers.

I had such a great time on this tour. I was traveling alone, so it was nice to join a small group for this day trip. November was the perfect time to go, because there was almost no wait time to go into Antelope Canyon. I thought Horseshoe bend was busy, but apparently it was nowhere near as busy as it gets in the summer. The cool weather made it pleasant to be outside. Our guide, Marcia, was amazing. She is like a human encyclopedia. The drive from Flagstaff is a couple hours but she made it pass quickly by providing information on just about everything you pass along the way, and there are actually a lot of interesting things that you pass that you’d otherwise never know about. We stopped for bathroom breaks at regular intervals, and there was time to look at the Navajo crafts in the trading posts. Horseshoe Bend was beautiful. Just be careful to watch the time, because it’s about a 3/4 mile walk from the parking lot and over a hill, so if you want more time at the bend, walk faster. I thought there was plenty of time to see it though. Antelope Canyon was indescribable. It is impossible to take a bad photo of the light shining through the canyon. During this segment of the tour, you are placed with a Navajo guide, because you couldn’t see the canyon otherwise. Don’t miss the dinosaur footprints at the end. Note that they don’t allow bags or backpacks in the canyon, so leave them in the van. Something important to note is that this tour stops at the Glen Canyon Dam (for lunch), in addition to the Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. I didn’t know this when I signed up for the tour and was pleasantly surprised. I’m glad, because I would say that it’s a must see if you’re driving to Page or Lake Powell.
