Angela exceeded my expectations of the tour and led me to appreciate the specificity of the neighbourhood and its highlights for sightseeing, eating, having a drink etc. In addition to a solid knowledge of the recent history of Greenwich Village, she has a well modulated voice and clear pronunciation, which is important for non-native speakers and the loud street noise that at various times trapped us during the tour. He listened attentively to questions from different members of the group. Dave was such a knowledgable and welcoming tour guide. I did the tour solo but the group were also lovely and nice to spend some time with other people on my trip! Easy walking with stop start so you can learn about all the different places. Really enjoyed and would recommend.

Dave was an excellent guide, making the best of a crowded Washington Square, then continued at a good but comfortable pace, taking us deeper in to the Village. We’ve explored on our own, but we learned lots of new and fun information!
