At one place, the band never showed up. At the two others, music was just okay … we moved to the outside space at one, and the upstairs bar at the other. But it was fascinating to see these dive bars, and all the local fauna … er, customers.

We're so glad that you joined us for the Austin Live Music Crawl and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! With this tour, we aim to offer our guests an opportunity to get out of downtown and into different Austin neighborhoods to see where the locals go. We check out shows at three (3) different venues each night so that there's a variety of music and scenery in hopes that everyone will see/hear something they really like. We know that the venues/bars can be a little dive-y feeling at times (and those spots tend to have some of the best music) but we're sorry to hear that they didn't really suit you. Also, we apologize for the situation at one of the stops on your tour where the scheduled band did not perform. Even though we always confirm the lineup in advance, sometimes unexpected changes can arise last minute. We went to three clubs all with a completely different vibe and musical style. And we didn’t have to drive. The group is small enough that you don’t feel in anyway like you’re following some guy holding up an umbrella. It was Saturday night and we walked in easily everywhere, they even had some well placed seating for us at an otherwise packed venue. We see a lot of live music and all the acts we saw were superior. Our guide Jax, and driver Chris, were clearly interested in all of us having a good time. Mission accomplished. I will do this tour every time I visit Austin in future.
