I settled for Faruk’s tour when I missed a spot at “The Original Cuban Food Tour of Little Havana.”
After enduring a 40-minute lecture consisting of random Wikipedia bites and biased and misleading political opinions about Cuba from someone who neither has credentials nor relation to Cuba, I started wondering why this was called a food tour. You do get to sample a delicious Cuban coffee, tiny sandwich, pastelitos, and churros. However, the bizarre history rants and lengthy discussions of a mural on the side of a local McDonald’s were unbearable.
