A food tour means food! This was not a food tour.
It took 1 hr to get any food and it was a small empanada. After 2.45 hours we were fed the aforementioned empanada, a small pastry and a small dixie cup of apple juice, all of which were delicious... I think. I was so hungry that I could have eaten shoe leather and it would have tasted good!!!
The tour should have been called "I am going to take you to all my friends stores and try to get you to buy merchandise tour", cause there was very little food and a lot of store visiting. We had some members of our tour buying food cause they were hungry. The guide kept saying, "this restaurant is my favorite" or "this restaurant has good food" and we kept thinking we were finally going get food, but nope, we kept walking!!! The guide seemed fixated on small trivial things like a mural on the side of a McDonalds store. (We spent 36 minutes discussing this mural.)
My wife and I go on food tours in almost every city we visit (we travel extensively) and this tour was the worst with not a close second.
The tour guide talked about her accomplishments and that darned McDonalds mural untill I really could not take it any more.
BUYER BEWARE!
