This tour far surpassed anything we had hoped for! What a fun and unique experience! Jeff, our guide, was phenomenal! He was patient, explained everything thoroughly so that you felt comfortable operating the CraigCat, gave us plenty of time to practice to get the hang of it, and then took us on a wonderful tour of the 10,000 islands around Marco Island. We saw numerous dolphins frolicking in the water, an osprey guarding her young in a nest, miles of interesting mangrove trees, and made about a 20 minute stop on a beach to walk around looking for shells, watch the dolphins put on a show for us, and enjoy the view. Jeff was so knowledgeable about everything that we were seeing; he would stop to explain about the local history and environment, or just to let us watch the dolphins. We got to ride the CraigCats wide open over the water, but would then enjoy a more leisurely pace through the calmer areas between the mangrove trees. In addition, Jeff had a camera with him, and took numerous pictures of the people in the group, in various locations. He would even stop and set up pictures, and made sure that each boat got its fair share of pictures taken, in addition to some wildlife shots of the dolphins and osprey. Within 48 hours, we had the pictures sent to us via email. As an avid picture taker, I was so pleased with him doing this, as then I didn't have to worry about trying to take these pictures myself. I could just sit back and enjoy the trip! However, if you want to, there is a small storage area behind the seats that is locked down, where you can store phones, cameras, car keys, wallets, towels and snacks, if you want to, and everything stays dry! The 3 hours flew by, and we were very sad when we had to bring our catamarans back to shore. We can't say enough good things about this amazing tour or how fantastic Jeff was! We would highly recommend this adventure to anyone who loves the water and boats. It is definitely well worth the money!
