Quick summary, if you know the songs and are willing to put up with a very pedestrian sound system, it's a blast. I attended the show on October 7th, 2022, and had a mid-price seat ($89 after taxes and fees, pretty normal for today's Las Vegas). First, the bad - the sound system was ragged, most noticeably in the mid-ranges. Either something was being overdriven or a speaker is actually damaged from prior use. This lead to what may be a more harsh review of the male characters than would otherwise be normal. The only other bad point was the story, doing again of what has been done a thousand times of the good girl falls for the bad guy despite her parents' wishes (ya-da-ya-da-ya-da as if no other outcome was possible). The average - the male leads. Strat was very average, but it is possible the speaker damage was in the same place as his performance. It was certainly most noticeable during his performances. Falco was solid, indeed, the ticket lady mentioned he had been on of the leads in Jersey Boys in years past. Jagwire was presented as unconventional, to say the least, but was very talented. The sets, as with any musical not named Phantom of the Opera, were... meh. Finally, if you did not previously know the songs, the story line was very contrived to making them fit some of the situations. The good - the songs, for those of us who grew up to this music. That part was awesome. The choreography to the individual numbers was very good. Finally, the night belonged to the ladies. I don't know if they were in the undamaged range of the sound system, or if that was were the talent was most heavily recruited, but, yeah, they owned the show. Raven, Sloane, and Zahara lit up the night.
