I live in the NYC area and have been attending musical theater since the 60s. Bat Out of Hell is one of the best musicals I've seen in my life. I base my opinion on the quality of the music, composed by musical genius Jim Stenman. The tunes, the orchestration, are all over the top. What about the story? It's a fun take-off of the Peter Pan story -- unbelievable, of course. We don't go to the opera or to musical theater for the story -- we go for the music and the performers. I've seen BOOH four times, NY and Vegas, and hope to see it again. Each time I see something I'd missed. The original BOOH album is ranked as the world's 3rd best-selling album of all time. I'm happy that Stenman and Meat Loaf saw their rock-opera dream come alive (London 2017) before they passed away.

A good show and a great night out. Limit your expectations as this is not the best production. Saw a previous version which was better. This current show was unfortunately truncated and a bit confusing. Guess they have to keep it to 90 minutes. Sloane was the best performer. Some of the others were weak. Strat has some potential and maybe will get better. A tip on seats. Get at least 10 rows back. Small theatre and really not a bad seat in the house. Save your money and go further back.

Bat Out of Hell is a fun high energy musical and I really enjoyed it. The singers were phenomenal and their performance of the songs and music of Meatloaf was outstanding. Extra special that the music was performed to a live band and not a soundtrack. It was wonderful to see veteran Las Vegas performers Anne Martinez and Travis Cloer back on stage. While the story line of boy from wrong side of tracks meets beautiful girl has all been done before, it did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the show. The set and costumes were in fitting with the rock and roll theme. The theater at the Paris hotel is a nice venue and I would be happy to see the show again.
