The experience was good. Easy to find the stops and the ear phones were helpful. Without them we would have been completely lost because this was our first time in NY.

Lousy commentary using earplugs with Poor connections, no history, lots of music. Hope there are better bus tours out there cuz this is such a waste of time. Every time the bus stops (which is every block ) the commentary or music stops./

I was in NYC on a two-day solo trip last week. I dropped my bags at the hotel and headed for the first stop in Times Square around 9:15 am. There were about a couple dozen people in line and I got right on, on the top. I purchased the 48-hour pass and did the downtown/uptown tours both days. No issues getting a seat on top. I wasn't interested in listening to the commentary, so I didn't bother but they do give you ear buds. The bus was not particularly dirty that I could see. The employees I encountered were friendly and helpful, especially Wanda who was at the Times Square stop. I really enjoyed the rides as they are very relaxing and help you get your bearings on the city.
