My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our red- route tour on the first day of our $120 package, but the yellow- route tour then spoilt the last day of our vacation. We understood that it was taking us to interesting places, rather than showing us interesting things seen from the bus, views,etc. However, we were tired after our very full day, and just wanted to be able to see parts of the street scene we hadn’t seen before, and get an idea of the whole Washington picture. We’re older, and were tired at the end of a long vacation, so felt we couldn’t safely manage the bus stairs or the hit sun on the top deck. However, the downstairs windows were so thickly covered with ads that we could actually not see out of them at all, and a photo showed only dots. Paying advertisers should not take precedence over passengers who have paid a lot of money to go on a tour bus, for whatever reason. The windows should be completely clear, not impossible to look through.

I would like to say that I am a customer experience specialist supervisor for a pretty big company. I had the pleasure of meeting Marcia Brown when we picked up our tickets at Union Station. She was very helpful and passed my rigorous judgement on customer experience. She is a great asset to your company and should be out working with your customers more instead of being inside at a Kiosk. You are missing out on some very good talent keeping her behind a desk. We were in DC the week of September 16 and you can tell her that her friends from Massachusetts want to thank her again for such great service. We had a good experience with everyone that worked for Big Bus and I would also like to say that Alicia gave us a tour at the capitol and she was a delight to be with also. Keep up the great work. Thank them both again for us.
