This is one Florida experience you do not want to miss! What makes this amazing is that the protected wetlands around the area we launch our kayaks has almost no light pollution. This make for amazing visibility of the bioluminescence.

We took the bioluminescence rafting tour rather than the kayak tour due to our ages (we are four women in their mid-60's). Faith was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. It had poured rain during the day so we were concerned about our tour being cancelled--it wasn't--although it did rain periodically during our tour. That only happens in high winds or if there is a lightning warning. Unfortunately, we didn't see any manatees or dolphins, but the bioluminescence was awesome! The raindrops made very cool little "blue dots" in the water. My only "complaint" is that the website recommends wearing long pants but we launched the raft in 3-inches of water so the bottom of my pants were soaked. Also, no need to bring flashlights as indicated on the website as certain unsavory tourists had used them to night blind the wildlife--there's always that one guy that ruins it for everyone. Make sure you're in shape. Rowing for an hour is hard work!

Love this tour. The raft was easy to paddle with the 6 of us. And Faith kept us steered in the right direction. We got to catch and play with the comb jellyfish. Don't worry Faith wouldn't let us take any home lol

Wow. Just wow. Loved this trip. We kayaked and swam in the bioluminescence waters of the Indian River. Amazing experience. Our guide was very informative.
