Il n'y a que quelques endroits dans le monde où vous pouvez voir cet incroyable spectacle de la vie marine illuminer les eaux avec leur lueur de néon d'un autre monde. C'est une expérience en Floride à ne pas manquer ! Ce qui rend cela étonnant, c'est que les zones humides protégées autour de la zone où nous lançons nos kayaks n'ont presque aucune pollution lumineuse. Cela permet une visibilité incroyable de la bioluminescence.

Gorgeous trip! From the comb jellies to the fully exposed night sky, we had an excellent time kayaking. The clear bottom kayaks made it easier to see some of the jellies, but the nets they provided made it more fun to try and catch one. Jacob was a great guide! Just remember to use a good bug spray.

The wildlife refuge is one of our darkest locations and is great for viewing the night sky on top of all of the bioluminescence! We are glad you enjoyed it and Jacob will be glad to hear that you did as well! Thank you for the 5-star review and we hope to se you again next time!

The staff and equipment were fine but the the actual Bioluminescence was virtually non-existent. When I booked the tour I was advised that the Merritt Island would be the best option due to the time of the year. Based on what we saw or really didn't see, I wouldn't recommend the tour any time in the winter season. We had fun with the kayaking but the group only saw ONE example of the Bioluminescence. The guides tried to be very upbeat but it was a strain on them. I would never do another tour during the winter season. I did a tour in Cocoa Beach in the September timeframe (rated in my next posting) and had the opposite opinion.

Hello, We are sorry you didn't get to see too much of the bioluminescence, it can be very unpredictable as it is a natural phenomenon. Our winter times do have good bioluminescence, especially with our comb jellies, but it seemed the conditions that night weren't right. My boyfriend and I did the bioluminescence clear kayak tour with Audrey and it was such a great experience! We weren’t expecting much considering we went during the “transition period.” However, what we were able to see was more than what we were expecting and so worth it!! Having the clear kayaks made a huge difference in our experience. Highly recommend to use those. Audrey, our tour guide did a great job guiding us around to the best spots to see the bioluminescence as well! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall great experience. We both left happy!
