Il n'y a que quelques endroits dans le monde où vous pouvez voir cet incroyable spectacle de la vie marine illuminer les eaux avec leur lueur de néon d'un autre monde. C'est une expérience en Floride à ne pas manquer ! Ce qui rend cela étonnant, c'est que les zones humides protégées autour de la zone où nous lançons nos kayaks n'ont presque aucune pollution lumineuse. Cela permet une visibilité incroyable de la bioluminescence.

We participated in a sunset/bioluminescence tour with BK Adventures in Titusville. Our guides were very well informed, calm and experienced on the water, and extremely educational about the flora and fauna of the area. Our first part was kayaking to Bird Island and back at sunset, where we were treated to not only a magnificent orange sky, but a double rainbow behind us! Next, after dark, we once again boarded our kayaks for an exploration of the canals and mangroves around the launch site, and even found some comb jellies to examine. Despite the less than optimal moon conditions and the late season, our guide, Ryan, did an excellent job of keeping us all together, entertained, and educated...we really had a great time, and plan to return on a darker summer night for more bioluminescent explorations!

Ryan is an amazing guides and sounds like you guys really had a great tour! The comb jellies are fun to watch in the fall and winter but we hope to see you next summer!

Our guides Bri and Kamary went beyond any expectations. It was likely a once in a lifetime chance for us to also witness a launch and we were blessed with a pod of dolphins showing themselves moments before. To just have the bioluminescence tour was stellar, pun intended. When looking through the clear kayak, it felt like I was paddling on a sea of shooting stars. I truly do not have the words to convey how much the trip means to my wife and I. Bri and Kamary, with my deepest sincerity, thank you. You both are the pinnacle of awesomeness.

This was one of the best experiences on our our trip to the space coast. We went with the family rafting option, and we really enjoyed having everyone together, including our wonderful guide, Kamary! He was very knowledgeable, and did some heavy lifting steering our raft so that we could truly enjoy the natural beauty that surrounded us. There are no words to express how special that night was - the beauty of creation, the stillness of the water, the sound of roaring waves in the distance, birds slowly moving around you, fish jumping out of the water. And the night sky...wow! It was so dark, we were able to see satellites moving with the naked eye. We were also treated to a "shooting star". It was truly humbling and it's something we talk about almost every day and something that all of our friends now want to experience. Of course, the stars of the show are the bioluminescence organisms. They didn't disappoint, although it was recommended to return in July to witness the full effect. But we still got to experience the amazing comb jellies lighting up the waters. My little girls loved catching them and bringing them aboard. Important tip: bring bug spray! There's a reason they mention this in ALL CAPS. Those no-see-ums are ruthless! We can't wait to return in the summer. We hope we get to raft with Kamary again.
