Zach did an exceptional job on our tour. He was able to keep myself and my 8 year old daughter entertained the whole time. It was informational and loved hearing the Ghost tales. We had a wonderful time. If you are in Salem make sure you take this tour.

I don't usually write reviews, but for the quality of the tour I had, I really needed to. I had Jeremiah as my tour guide and when he said he was was previously an English teacher, that should've been a sign. The tour was basically a history lesson that you felt like you'd get quizzed on at the end and it took about an hour of the tour before there was any mention of a ghost. He also spoke really low and wouldn't use the mic (or would use it at a low volume) so we couldn't hear him. I know there are noise ordinances in the town, but I could hear other tour groups better and they were either using their mics or were projecting really well without a mic. We waited for at least 10 minutes before the tour even started because some people showed up late (if you're making a reservation, you should be on time for it). He would spend almost 20 minutes at each stop, when we'd watch other tours stop by us at the same spot for only 5-10 minutes. This was not the "spooky or spine-chilling experience" that was advertised. My friend and I watched as we lost people as the tour went on because of how bored people were, and we eventually left as well because it was becoming a waste of our time (pretty sure there were about 20 people out of the 40 we started with when we left). The quality of the tour definitely depends on who's giving the tour, so be warned if your guide is Jeremiah.

Our tour guide David was excellent. He went above and beyond explaining so much detail about the history of Salem. Very entertaining and a great time.
