Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War. We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history. From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

Purely from a historical perspective it was a great tour, 2 hours exploring the town and learning the background to the stories (some maybe truer than others, but hey) in each area. Daniel was an engaging guide who was skilled at setting the scene and creating an atmosphere. Maybe not as "spooky" as I'd expected, but still worth doing.

My girlfriend and I visited a week ago and took the nightly tour with Daniel. We LOVED it! Daniel was informative, entertaining, and a good story teller. We loved it so much that we are bringing our kids for a tour as well. They are aged 11 and 7 and the passionate knowledge that Daniel discusses is perfect for them. We HIGHLY recommend this tour. :)
