Our tour guide, Sully was the absolute best!! Our party of 6 truly enjoyed our day walking part of the Freedom Trail and Boston’s amazing North End on the “Food to Freedom Tour” with him. It was a great value for what we received (I did a LOT of research to pick the best tour for our money) and we unanimously gave it a 5/5!! Sully is incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and is easygoing and passionate about his job. He is very respectful of the Bostonians going about their daily lives, speaking loud enough for us to hear, but not obnoxiously loud (with microphones and bullhorns!) like other guides. Sampling the many delicacies found in the North End was the highlight of our day (included in the ticket cost). The freshly baked bread, affogato (a genius blend of espresso and vanilla gelato), cannoli, pizza, Italian subs, and Sam Adams specialty brews left us happy that we also got some exercise! I believe the tour is limited to 12 guests, which was really nice, as we were able to see more hidden gems due to our smaller group size. After the tour, Sully sent a summary of our adventures, which was an added touch that we appreciated. Definitely highly recommend!! (After the tour we had dinner at Carmelita’s (I booked our reservation 2 months in advance because they fill up fast) and had a fabulous and filling meal!! The Sunday Macaroni was a table favorite-so good!!). Great end to a great day!!
