We met our very knowledgeable guide, Michael, at the Boston Common, after having bought our tickets online at Freedomtrail.com. This was especially convenient because the tickets were usable for any scheduled tour, so lots of flexibility there. Our guide was quick to point out that he was a teacher at a local college, ad not an actor. Lucky us!! Michael was full of facts and dry wit and the freedom trail tour was a wonderful way to see a lot in an easy way. We finished off at the USS Constitution ship, and then took the ferry back to the city.

What a great tour! Our guide went by the marvellous name of Jeremiah Poope. He was terrific. Informative, amusing and audible. We learned such a lot in a short space of time. Thank you!

I had walked part of the Trail and was going to do it solo, but after poaching off a bit of the tour by another guide, I signed up for the tour. It definitely added to experience. The guide that we had was knowledgeable and entertaining. I am a history buff and already knew a fair amount about it, but the guide instilled several nuggets of information that I didn't know. Plus he was humorous. I can highly recommend this tour anyone visiting, but especially to younger people who need to know about our history.
