Our guide Christina was fantastic, and we hit all the highlights for the North End in Boston. Really recommended. The public market was also really neat to see and exciting since it's so new. Not sure what was so secret about this, but that was okay since it covered everything you would expect from a Boston food tour.

The tour included 8 different tastings, at 2 locations - the market and the North End. The food was very good and diverse, and our guide Leah had a lot of knowledge and good explanations.

My wife and I have done many food tours in Boston, NYC and Europe. We have to say this was the best of all of them. Out guide, Leah was funny, engaging, knowledgable, and a good listener. She lives in the North End so she has intimate knowledge of the history and restaurants. The tour started with pumpkin raviolis and pizza. Each food stop provided more than just a sample, you got a good sized portion that allowed you to determine the true flavor, texture and taste of each sample. We had stops at an old Italian grocery store that provided a sandwich of meats, cheese, olives and sauces. We spent considerable time at the new Boston Public Market. This unique food arena has foods from local farmers, venders. We tasted some nuts dipped in Mexican chocolates, flavored with different spices. and honey from different flowers,we also had a lobster roll lobster prepared while we waited, it was tender and sweet. The portion was excellent. The final stop was a bakery that makes canolis while you wait. The only complaint was no fault of the tour, but it was extremely hot and humid so we had to spend more time inside than we would have liked. The samplings were interspersed with historical facts of the North End. My wife and I highly recommend this food tour and Leah.
