This whale-watching tour exceeded expectations! Not going to lie - we were nervous in the beginning (the line was really long and we didn't realize how many people would be on the boat!), but it really went up from there. Online it says you can get there about 30 minutes early for boarding but I would recommend about an hour so that you can get a good seat for the ride out. It's about 90 minutes to the whale sanctuary and it pays to have a good seat for the ride out there. The guides were amazing -- very knowledgeable, kind, and explained a lot about the animals we were seeing. Even the deck hands were caring and helpful when my friend begin to feel some sea/motion sickness. If you get motion sick, take 2 dramamine about an hour ahead of time and bring some ginger ale. We were able to buy ginger ale on the boat ($4 a cup, a little pricey but worth it) and brought dramamine with so we were set. Crew was awesome, we saw SO MANY WHALES, and we had a great time. Thankful to all those who took us safely out to see the whales, taught us interesting facts and how to be more conscious of how our daily lives affect marine animals, and helped us to feel less sea sick while on the boat. Great experience, great people onboard. Would recommend!

We loved this excursion! The crew was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed all of the information we learned from our on board guide/naturalist. We saw an amazing amount of whale activity, it was incredible!

This was a great experience! Saw 5 whales who were very curious about our boat. The tour guides provided a lot of interesting information.
