Our family of 4 enjoyed our time there. Our girls are 6 & 4 so they couldn't participate in the "figuring out", but they enjoyed reading the compass, opening the locks and finding the treasure. We tried gold panning ($19 pp) afterwards. The whole experience was about 2 hours including the gold panning. I think my husband could've spent another 2 hours if i let him! Don't forget to reserve for the mining tour as that is separate of the treasure hunt and book everything in advance! I saw some families drive up but they didn't have any availability.

Thanks so much for coming up to see us - we love it when you have fun with us :) And yes, gold panning, men are the ones who want to stay past dark getting those last flakes of gold :-D

Had a blast kids want to go back. We also went panning for gold. Would go back again. Staff was really fun.
