Visiting NYC for the second time, we wanted to get away from the main Manhattan attractions. Angelo was excellent and very passionate about what he does. He was very personable with everyone on the tour. I love food tours because you get both a history tour, tastings from several different places, and great advice on things to do from a local.
We learned so much about this small area of Brooklyn. We saw some beautiful views, heard some great history and had some yummy tastings. I would definitely do one of his food tours again. I also would go back to all of these places to eat.
A few things that were a little different from other food tours we’ve done but not to take away from how much we enjoyed this tour. 1. Bring your own water. 2. You don’t sit in a restaurant for each tasting. Some of these tastings are very small places and can’t accommodate groups.
