This is a great tour! Sasha was our guide. He was excellent and informative. The tour was interesting, tasty, fun. It is a great way to learn about the history of Brooklyn, and how it has shaped, and continues to shape, the Brooklyn of today - particularly as you do much of that through food! The food samplings were generous and interesting - there is something for every taste, with lots of surprises along the way, from pastries, cookies and coffee to smoked fish, cheese, sodas, beer and spinach pies. There is a story behind every bite. In addition, you get a discount if you choose to purchase from the providores you meet on the tour. Highly recommended.

What a brilliant introduction to Brooklyn migrant and food history. The tour is extensive and a must for foodies and cultural historians. Greg is so enthusiastic and engaging, everything you want in a tour guide. With only my partner and me on the tour, Greg made us feel like VIP's. This is a must 5 star tour, my highlights are Stinky and the Damascus Bakery
