This was a fun walking tour of Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego. The tour guide "Stephano" was fun and presented the stories well. I have no idea how accurate his stories are (the few I tried fact checking came out "close" to history but not quite. The food was iffy and not worth the expense. We stopped at Meze Greek Fusion where they served us sample sized gyro. Very tasty. At Patron's Corner Mexican, we were served a taco that wasn't anywhere near as good as a street taco would be. We were fed a Sheppard's pie at The Field Irish Pub. It was poor quality - like a frozen meat pie. The last stop was a dessert at Le Parfait. We were given a macaroon. 1 macaroon. Drinks were 1 cocktail at Meze. 1 margarita served in a shooter glass at Patron's. 1 8oz Guinness at The Field. Nothing offered at Parfait. I calculate the food and drink together were worth under $25 and this tour cost $60.00. Great history, poor food. This was a fun night and it is worth doing for the entertainment. But the value is poor.

Title is right on. A walking tour thru the Gaslamp district, with a discussion of the history of the district, brothels, and supplemented by bites and booze from 4 different restaurants. Our tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. She owns her own interior decorating business by day and enjoys doing the tour in the late afternoon and /evening. This is a great way to see the Gaslamp district when you don't have a lot of time to spend in the city. We took the tour the day before our cruise. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was fantastic. We really enjoyed the Greek and Irish restaurants. For the Italian restaurant, we wish we didn't get a slice of pizza - too ordinary. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
