On Thursday I attended the Brothels, Bites & Booze tour in downtown San Diego and I had such a great time! Aparna was our tour guide and she was amazing! We walked about a mile and a half around the Gaslamp Quarter, visiting 3 different restaurants and 1 ice cream shop. All of the food was good, but the gyro quesadilla and the sangria at the Greek restaurant were to die for! I’m a San Diego native and I had never been to any of the spots we visited and I will absolutely be back to them! I learned so much on this tour. Again, I’m a native and I was surprised at how much I didn’t know about some of the history in downtown. Aparna was not only very friendly, engaging and entertaining, but she’s also a rockstar with a great story and mission in life! I enjoyed getting to know her at the same time as getting to know my city! I’m so glad I took this tour and I definitely would like to take some of the others that So Diego Tours offers. I 10/10 recommend booking one if you are in San Diego and looking for something to do!

I really enjoyed getting to try so many restaurants that I would not otherwise have tried. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the many restaurants in the area, as well as about the brothels. 😋

We thought the tour was great! Anna was very knowledgeable, friendly and hilarious. We enjoyed the drink & food samples from all 3 locations. Finishing with ice cream was the cherry on top.
