The guide was fun and was very interactive. Since we were new to the city he was suggesting us other places to try food at. Went over briefly over the history of the Gaslamp district. Coming to the food, the first restaurant we visited was great! The ambiance was welcoming, the food was flavourful. Since it was a pre decided dish the service was quick. The second restaurant was a few blocks down. Since the restaurant was expecting us at a pre determined time it looked like they had pre-made the order and hence the food served was cold. The last restaurant had a great vibe with a live jazz band. Just like the previous one the food here was pre made and didn’t feel freshly put at all. The food itself was very greasy and the drink wasn’t good either. Overall the part really enjoyed the informative part of the tour. The restaurants were mostly a miss. They need to rethink the restaurant choices.
