Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

We had such a wonderful experience rafting Browns Canyon with The Adventure Company. My parents (age 60), my brother and I were situated with Jess as our raft guide and Tim M. as the pod leader. Both were funny, unique, experienced and created the best experience for us. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a one of a kind rafting experience!

I called in the morning to see if we could do a trip that afternoon. It was our fist full day in Colorado and we were a few hours away. The girl I spoke with the very friendly and helpful. Once we got there we were treated like family. Our rafting guide was Dennison. Not only was he a great guide, but he told us all about the history of the area as we went down the river. When he found out about the places we planned to visit on our trip, he gave us recommendations on where to eat and things to do. His tips were very helpful. I highly recommend the company. We had a wonderful afternoon on the river.

Fantastic time! Even though the Arkansas River flow was very, very low, we had a great time. As others have said, from the office staff to the bus drivers to the guides to the office dog Cooper, all are very friendly, funny and add to the enjoyment of the trip. Rock Stars you ask? They work here!! :) Our pod leader, Tim M aka Bret Michaels (I was thinking a skinny Vince Neil) was very entertaining and gave THE most informative safety talk on the many raft trips we've been on throughout the US. The bus driver, Hick aka Bono (or maybe Getty Lee) was hilarious and the hardest working guy you'll meet. Ted was our raft guide. No question he has crazy good skills at reading the water, finding a line and maximizing the fun, even at low water. Very personable guy, we'd certainly recommend him to anyone and would request him as a guide in the future. #HaveYouMetTed During your float there will be a cameraman located near one of the bigger rapids. You can view the pictures back at the shop and purchase one or all. We purchased all as they were awesome and captured the moments perfectly, delivered electronically with copyright release. Bring sunscreen and water this time of year. And if you get the chance to pet Cooper the shop dog, we recommend that as well. :) Thanks to The Adventure Company for a fun day!
