Christmas Town was better in previous years. There are no more printed maps so if you like printed maps, you need to download the map from the website and print it before you arrive. It would be nice if the website included information on which shows will be available on which days. I buy my ticket in advance to take advantage of the flash sales. But I can't see which shows are running when so I can make sure to come on a day when the show I want to see is running. Of course, the "handling fee" for online tickets is ridiculous. As others have mentioned, the park is very crowded and signs are few and far between. It is not easy to get from one show to another. It was also not easy to find a seat to eat my dinner at Festhaus. Soon it was showtime. They performed "Up on the Haustop", a medley of modern Christmas songs. (I was seated with a family of five. Would you believe that four of them were looking at their phones rather than watching the show? Two of the four were adults!) Outside the Festhaus is a large Christmas tree. Every half hour, the lights move in synch with the music. The show is called "O Tannenbaum". I wanted to ride the Christmas Town Express train ride around the park to see the lights. There was something on the tracks and the train in front of me was delayed as a result. When the next train arrived, it took no passengers and went empty to the depot. (At least I had a seat while waiting.) The next train pulled in and I was able to board. But it waited in the station for 10 minutes without proceeding. When it proceeded, the ride itself was nice. But I missed a show that I had wanted to see because of the train delays. When I first visited Christmas Town, it was much better. PS If you get on Busch Gardens' email list, be prepared to receive multiple emails each day.

Want to spend an exorbitant amount of money, wait for hours, and be extremely disappointed?! Then go to Christmas Town. $300 later, my wife, both kids, and I agreed to never give these clowns anymore money. Extra costs for nearly every show ($22 per show), $14 for a hotdog and $70 for parking on top of tickets to get in make me wish I had given it to charity! Christmas Lights are WAY better at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, food is better out in town and the 10 minute firework display was a let down at best for New Years Eve. Feel like Busch is hiking prices to make up for their awful past marketing decisions. Do not waste your time!

Visited yesterday for Christmas town. Lights were pretty. Only saw 2 shows, the German house one which was ridiculously loud and the 5 minute light one on the water ride that had half the lights either glitching or out completely. Rode 3 rides. Kept getting lost due to the fact that there really are not enough signs to point the way. Wanted to do the train ride but the wait would have been 2 hours. Got there early, left by 6:30. Got way too crowded really quick to where you couldn't move. On our way out we passed a line literally about half a mile long of people attempting to get in. Need to start capping the admissions as it truly is a waste. Was so excited..and this was a complete letdown. Why not trolleys working? We pay $38 to park and have to walk a mile to get in the park? Also .. you really need to put some lights on on the walkway. After dark it's not safe to not see where you are going!
