I have been whitewater rafting with tour companies for over forty years now, and this was hands down the best company I've ever dealt with. The guides were wonderful - we had Dave and "Double-D" - they seemed to know just about everything with the river and I really liked how Dave explained why he was doing stuff and what our approach was going to be, so we knew what we were going to do and why it was going to work. Everyone else we dealt with were also helpful and kind and professional. For a change, I really felt like I was being guided by someone who cares and not just a number. As for the river itself, it was class 3 and 4 rapids with lots of fun big waves. We could either paddle our way through the rapids, or not. It was our choice, although I think the more we chose to paddle, the better it worked for everyone. Also, we did this as a last-minute option. We were supposed to do a Denali flight, but it got rained out. We thought that whitewater rafting would be fine to do in the rain, and indeed it was. And it was still absolutely beautiful in the canyon. Just a great time.

I have gone rafting in WV several time and wanted to try in Alaska. It was 100% worth it! My guide Dbl.D was very knowledgeable and funny. The ride was fun and had beautiful scenery! The drivers were also so nice and helpful too!

I have rafted in WV several times so I wanted to try it in Alaska. It was amazing! We started with rain and ended with an amazing double rainbow. My guide was Dbl.D was AMAZING!
