My wife bought me the tour for my 50th birthday and there were 8 of us (4 couples) that went together. I wasn't sure how my guy friends would like it, but they each reported different aspects that they truly enjoyed. It was a great time with friends. Our tour guide, Paige, was very knowledgeable of the area and of the history of Capitol Hill. I learned a lot. The neighborhood was very interesting from an architectural standpoint and the diversity of food offerings was amazing. My favorite food of the whole tour was at the Tapas restaurant; we had this unbelievably tender pork shoulder. My favorite restaurant of the day was the Salvadoran restaurant; plaintains, fried yucca, tender steak, all amazing. At each restaurant there was plenty of food. I think if there was one wish I had to make the tour better was to have more interaction with our restaurant hosts. I would love to have heard more of their stories and to tell us more about the food itself. Another highlight which wasn't on the tour but was very easy to access was Eastern Market. Such a cool setup with a combination of indoor and outdoor food, art, musicians, etc. I definitely enjoyed being able to see a part of DC that I didn't know well. Overall a great day!

Briana (sp?) made our Capitol Hill Food Tour so fun! The Capitol Hill tour combined great food at different types of restaurants with a bit of local history. Our tour guide had a lovely personality, which made it even better! Great afternoon. The only thing I would change would be a different place for dessert, although it was perfect for the time limit.

We enjoyed our tour with Brianna! Four girlfriends and i did this tour for our friends 24th birthday. We thought the Spanish tapas and Belgian food was delicious, the 3rd restaurant (Salvadoran) and the pop tart dessert were so-so. Brianna was a good tour guide, she knew a lot about the history of capitol hill, and gave us good recommendations on drinks at each restaurant. Our group was smaller, but we enjoyed having some private time as a group of friends.
