Visite gastronomique et culturelle à pied en petit groupe du Carmel

Aperçu
Discover the charming coastal town of Carmel and savor a series of tantalizing food tastings (which may include wine or a cocktail) on this 3-hour guided walking tour. Your passionate guide will share stories about the history, culture and architecture of Carmel as you stop at restaurants, stylish watering holes and food shops to meet business owners (when available) and sample different food items. You may visit places like a classic European Restaurant, a local tavern serving mixed fermentation brews and modern takes on classic dishes, purveyors of the freshest tortillas on the Monterey Peninsula, and a local producer of confections made from century-old recipes. In general, the tastings add up to an average lunch. Ideal for both tourists and Carmel residents, this tour is a leisurely and tasty way to learn more about this quaint town.

This small group tour is generally limited to 16 people, ensuring more personal attention from your guide.

À quoi s'attendre
1

Sunset Cultural Center
This is the meeting place for Carmel Food Tours. Look for the tall, Gothic-style arch and huge windows. It looks a little like a church, but it's not. When you descend into the courtyard, which is located EXACTLY at the intersection of 9th & San Carlos, you'll be greeted by your tour guide.

Awesome tour and great service! My first food tour with the best guide with fun, pleasure and inspiration. I will recommend it to all our friends, clients, relatives and colleagues! A good way to get to know the magic of Carmel.

Bonnie was great! She gave insightful details of the town. So it was a great combination of a walking & food tour. I would recommend taking this tour at the start of your stay. I did mine on my last day and I'd like to go back to some of the restaurants to try other dishes on the menu. The food selection was OK and the most interesting experience was the honey tasting & pairing at the Carmel Honey Co. What I find a little awkward was the guide not dining with us. You need to get her a seat & plate as it takes away the pleasure of eating when your guide stands next to you watching you eat.

Bonnie was a fantastic guide! She highlighted Carmel addresses, architecture, restaurants, and various local must sees! The food was delicious, my favorite was the chilequiles and sparkling wine with rose petals at El Bistro By the Sea! My husband loved the finale Dutch Door Donut! The beautiful winter day added to the Carmel charm!
