Am I credible experience! Jason shares his vast knowledge of the geology, history, culture and fun facts of the Capitol Reef area. Spectacular scenery around every turn. The personalized adventure catered to our particular interests. Although not a regular feature of his tours, we spent a couple of hours digging out a cow who was stuck in the mud. Jason didn’t hesitate to get in there with his shovel and rescue knowledge to help out. We can’t recommend Waterpocket Adventure Company enough.

Jason is an extraordinary guide with endless knowledge of Capitol Reef as well as other National Parks in Utah. He clearly loves this land and his passion is contagious. He even took the time to help rescue a mother cow and her calf who were stuck in the mud. A fantastic experience the whole way around!

Haha! That was an epic tour for sure! Not every day you get to rescue a cow in the clay! I appreciate all the help getting the cow unstuck! It was a real team event with a charismatic commander. Jason gave us a great tour through Capitol Reef Park, Waterpocket Fold and Cathedral Valley. Jason is very knowledgeable about the geology, history, plant life, animals and paleontology. I had a lot of questions and he greatly increased our knowledge of the area. The highlight of the trip was walking through an ancient seabed of shell fragments and shark teeth. I even found a shark tooth in perfect condition. We also saw dinosaur bones imbedded in the rock.
