Mark was very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the hidden gems he shared with us! It was a hot day but we survived!

If you are looking for a tour that is exploring the alleys and hidden passages of Savannah than you have not found it here. False advertising at its finest. I don’t know if we just had a guide who decided to freelance the tour or if the tour itself is very misleading but what we experienced was a traditional walk around history tour (which we have already did). One hour into the tour we finally went down one alley and that was the only one. After an hour and half of seeing and hearing everything on the main roads that we had already heard from our previous traditional walking tour we finally dipped out, extremely disappointed. I hope to save other people the misunderstanding when they book this tour, you will not see alleys or hidden passages nor will you hear the stories behind the alleys and hidden passages. Additionally there are no stops for restrooms or water, be prepared if you are taking this tour at 2pm in the heat of the day.

What a great way to see the city! We did this tour on our first day in Charleston and loved the experience of staying off the beaten path getting from location to location, while still getting to all of the “must-sees”. Our tour guide Mark has lived in the Charleston all his life and his family has been here for many generations, so he was extremely knowledgeable about the city and it’s history. I’d definitely recommend!
