I think we visited maybe 2 “hidden passageways”. the description said Philadelphia alley but we didn’t go there which was a little disappointing given that we had to rush to see that at the end of the tour on our own. But otherwise this is a good and informative tour and you get a nice overview on the architecture and why things are built as they are. It does not cover a lot of ground though just a few blocks so if you want something more expansive you may want a private tour.

Thank you for your detailed review and your kind words about the tour. We are happy that you enjoyed the experience overall, but regret that the points of interest on the tour did not meat your expectations. There are several possible routes through the Historic District but generally, we include between four to six different alleyways/passages as well as popular points of interest and of course, tons of history! Occasionally, because of construction and maintenance in the city, weather, traffic etc, the points of interest may differ from our usual ones. We would like to offer you a complimentary tour in hopes of fulfilling your expectations the next time your are in town. Please contact us directly to schedule. Guide tended to go over and over same information, 2 hours was way too long!Also description stated no more than 10 people per tour due to covid but ours had 12!

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed that we were unable to live up to your expectations on this occasion. We would be grateful if you would contact us directly to provide a bit more detail so that we may use your feedback as a tool to improve where necessary. Thank you for pointing out that the City of Charleston has lifted restrictions on the size limit for walking tour groups from 10 to 20, but we are still keeping the group size to 12 as we have always been a "small group" tour company. We sincerely hope you will give us an opportunity to exceed your expectations on another walking tour the next time you are in town.
