Jim was an excellent tour guide. The tour is very interesting and gives you a perspective of how Charleston was so many years ago. Highly recommend. After the tour Jim gave us some pointers for lunch - much appreciated.

Evans, was a great guide and very knowledgeable about his surroundings. Wether it be plants, housing, or history. Great guide all the way around, but he does get a little political there for some instances so if you are easily triggered or just don’t wanna deal with that BS then just don’t go or try and request to be with someone else if you can even do that.

Evan was a blast! What a great combo, fun history, edgy, self-depreciating humor and meeting the locals. Great stories of the Civil War, political intrigue, slavery and its effects, current gossip, horticulture, architecture and fun facts. We love this town after just a couple days. We will return and take the tour again only if Evan is leading it.
