Capt. Jim could have made this more interesting if he had actually showed us some hidden passages but he didn't. He could have talked about the slave market and taken us into the dungeon, but he didn't, he took us to parking lots. Also, it was very hot and he could have stopped where people could sit, but he didn't. It was a very long, hot, marginally interesting tour.

We take every review very seriously and are thankful for the opportunity to respond. On this particular tour, Jim took the group through six different alleyways/passages in addition to some popular points of interest including Rainbow Row. We would like to note that the Alleys & Passages Tour is a walking tour and while we stop frequently, there are typically no places for the entire group to sit down. We try to cover as much of the historic district as we can in a limited time which typically does not afford us the opportunity to enter any buildings. We do however highly recommend a separate visit to the Slave Mart Museum and the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, where you could spend at least an hour exploring each. Charleston’s summers are hot and humid and Jim provided the group with waters before hand to make sure everyone was hydrated. We try our best to exceed the expectations of each and every one of our guests and regret that we were not able to do so in this particular instance.
