The Rookery Building
The Rookery building in the heart of Chicago’s financial district stands testimony to the resilience and creative spirit of late-nineteenth century Chicago. Ben was our tour and we had a great time. We learned a lot more than we were expecting from a food tour. We learned about architecture, art, the Great fire, history, etc. Ben was very knowledgeable and informative, had a great sense of humor and a vibrant personality. My critiques would be to slow the walking pace a tad for us oldies. Also need to provide bottles of water at the start of the tour. It gets hot walking for 3.5+ hours. They are revamping some details and website issue, so there was no orange umbrella to look for and the departure time was off a bit. We got there early as instructed and had to wait a while I would take a tour with Ben again for sure!

Benjamin was an excellent host. He explained in detail each food item. He gave a great history less about each are we visited. His tour of the Chicago library was excellent. We had a great afternoon in his care.
