Took this tour during the cruise ship stop in Haines. Nate met us at the pier and away we went. Very relaxed, informative drive. Stopped to walk along the shore and look at rocks, to look at the beautiful views and wildlife. Saw eagles, watched surf scoters work together to get food. Nate set up a spotting scope so we could look at the snow and rock formations up high on the mountain. Chilkoot Lake was beautiful and we spent time just enjoying it. If you love the beauty of nature, this outing is for you. You may be lucky and have Nate as a guide!
