The cruise itself was excellent, the guide/narrator was both knowledgeable and entertaining. It's a great way to see the statue and the skyline - better than getting off at the island unless you want the experience of climbing up to the crown. Only reason for not giving them 5 stars is the offshore staff could have been more courteous.

Great views but cranky staff. This guy was rude and ruined the entire experience. Go elsewhere if you plan on bringing kids.

My wife and I visited in October and paid the additional cost for Premier Seating. We found a promo code online which basically offset the additional cost from a standard ticket. The premier seating option was worth it! Upon arrival, a gentlemen took us to the front of the line (which was pretty long) for a picture and then escorted us on the boat. We had reserved seating and two seats near the window. We thought we would eventually make our way outside to get better pictures, but once the boat started moving, you could tell it would be much cooler on the open deck and our hair/hats would go flying. We stayed indoors, took nice pictures and our server let us know when we could go to the front of the boat for photos of the Statue of Liberty. Our guide was amazing and the tour was very educational. If you want to do the tour, and still have time for a lot of other NYC attractions, I recommend doing the 90 minute tour and you will still see and learn a lot
