This was a pretty nice and short tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The gentleman who told us about the landmarks was knowledgeable but the speakers weren't always loud enough to hear everything he was saying over people who were talking.

What a great deal. Through trip advisor we got tickets to this boat tour for just $16.99 each. (Direct from the tour company’s website and in person were more expensive.) Ordered from my phone at the pier, skipped the line, got right in the boat. We were only about 35 minutes early and there were still plenty of desirable seats, but none left on the outside rails. Closer to departure it definitely got harder to find a decent seat outside. Not a problem, you can move around to get pix and most sights are above peoples heads. Also inside there were plenty of seats and it was air conditioned too. Great views of Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. Snacks and alcohol available for purchase. Some decent tour guide descriptions, enough to tell you what to look at but not overly obtrusive. And could clearly hear what was being said. Boat ride lasts about an hour, just long enough. Loved it!
