Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

We had the absolute best time! Had amazing guides at Downstream Adventures! We will definitely be back! We all agree our favorite part was the 50/50!

Lifetime experience!!!! I would rate a 5* but you might not believe it, so first of all the exterior is not where they put a lot of time, that said: The small chalkboard was cute and inviting, our guides were awesome to the Nth degree . Our driver was entertaining as well as the watchful eye if we managed to survive the class 3 & 4 rapids available at the time. A definite destination that is close to the city that exceeded expectations. So Great Value ***** +*

This was my second time using downstream and they did not disappoint! Chaz was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Can’t wait to go back next year!
