Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

Family went on intermediate rafting trip. Spencer was the guide on my raft and he was amazing. Water was running very well and we all knew we had been white water rafting unlike some trips where the water barely. moves. Our expectations were more than fulfilled and we would do this again in a heartbeat!

Great intermediate course with fabulous views!! 7 mile course that takes close to 1.5 hours and worth every minute!! Ask for Lindsey at Downstream Adventures!! You won’t be disappointed!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our rafting experience in Clear Creek! Chaz was knowledgeable, down to earth and super friendly. His safety talk was easy to follow, and he double-checked our PFD's and helmets before we set out on the river. We did the intermediate run (having only done tamer rafting in TN), and Chaz made sure all 3 of our boys (22,17,15) had the exciting adventure they wanted (as did their dad) while I had a great time yet somehow stayed relatively dry in the boat while they got soaked! On one of our breaks from paddling we pulled over, and he even took them up a ways to jump in and float back down to the raft. The staff inside was quick to help and answered any questions we had. I recommend purchasing the pictures online beforehand to save a little money, delivery was instantaneous as soon we got back from our trip (simply provide email), and the pictures are clear and great quality. The smiles in the pics are a reminder of how much fun we all had together! There's a great little gift shop inside as well as places to change after your trip. We highly recommend this company if you're rafting in Colorado, we had a GREAT experience with them!
