Crystal River
This tour is ALL about finding the best manatee spots and utilizing our clear kayaks to give you the best viewing possible without getting wet! Crystal River is known as the “Manatee Capital of the World.” On this tour, we want our guests to experience Manatees in their natural habitat. Crystal River is fed by dozens of natural springs, which makes it is a hotspot during Florida’s “colder” months. Between November and March, hundreds of manatees migrate inland to the springs to seek refuge and stay warm. We can’t control where they might be in the area, but our experienced guides will take you to where they are most active! While manatees are our main focus of this tour, we often see dolphins, fish, turtles, birds, and more! This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure includes a relaxed paddle through Kings Bay to Hunter Springs, Jurassic Springs, and beyond in Crystal River. Check this paddle off your manatee bucket list! We launch at Kings Bay Park located at: 268 NW 3rd St, Crystal River, FL 34428

Seth was an amazing tour guide! He was very personable and knowledgeable about wildlife around us. The water at Three Sisters Springs is clear and beautiful. We had the opportunity to swim which our kids loved. We also got to see a few manatees including a baby!

First kayak adventure, didnt get eaten, found out paddling in unison is a learned skill. Guide, Mark, was very helpful and friendly. The kayaks were sturdy , but water was dark most of trek due to cloudy day. Went under a low bridge that was as daunting/fun. Saw a chunky lil manatee. I like the tip online option so i didnt have to bring my wallet. Great time, would go again.

My family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We saw manatees around the dock before we left on the tour and then several of them while we were kayaking as well. One of them swam up to the surface and then went directly under our kayak bumping it and that was cool! Once we got in the three sisters’ area it was pretty crowded, but it started to rain and the other people cleared out of there quickly, after a few minutes the rain cleared up and we were able to continue with our tour. The area was beautiful! Our guide, Shade, was great! He was very knowledgeable about the area and was super nice. We would definitely do another kayak tour!
