Hundreds of manatees make Crystal River their home during the colder months on our Manatee Tour (November 14 - March 31), and some stick around all year to enjoy the refreshing water from Hunter Springs. Our 2 different tour options each give a unique perspective on this incredibly popular location. Come paddle with us!

What To Expect

Crystal River

This tour is ALL about finding the best manatee spots and utilizing our clear kayaks to give you the best viewing possible without getting wet! Crystal River is known as the “Manatee Capital of the World.” On this tour, we want our guests to experience Manatees in their natural habitat. Crystal River is fed by dozens of natural springs, which makes it is a hotspot during Florida’s “colder” months. Between November and March, hundreds of manatees migrate inland to the springs to seek refuge and stay warm. We can’t control where they might be in the area, but our experienced guides will take you to where they are most active! While manatees are our main focus of this tour, we often see dolphins, fish, turtles, birds, and more! This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure includes a relaxed paddle through Kings Bay to Hunter Springs, Jurassic Springs, and beyond in Crystal River. Check this paddle off your manatee bucket list! Yas was a wonderful guide. He was super friendly and informative and the Manatees were fantastic! I would highly recommend this tour.

Yassiel was a great guide the whole experience was amazing we got to see over 8 manatees and we learned a lot from him about when they come around and what happens when they are injured one of my favorite parts though was getting to see an alligator and seeing a mama and her baby.

Yassiel was a wonderful tour guide. He took some very nice pictures and showed us all the good places to see manatees.. Definitely recommend
