This tour is ALL about finding the best manatee spots and utilizing our clear kayaks to give you the best viewing possible without getting wet! Crystal River is known as the “Manatee Capital of the World.” On this tour, we want our guests to experience Manatees in their natural habitat. Crystal River is fed by dozens of natural springs, which makes it is a hotspot during Florida’s “colder” months. Between November and March, hundreds of manatees migrate inland to the springs to seek refuge and stay warm. We can’t control where they might be in the area, but our experienced guides will take you to where they are most active! While manatees are our main focus of this tour, we often see dolphins, fish, turtles, birds, and more! This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure includes a relaxed paddle through Kings Bay to Hunter Springs, Jurassic Springs, and beyond in Crystal River. Check this paddle off your manatee bucket list! We launch at Kings Bay Park located at: 268 NW 3rd St, Crystal River, FL 34428

We enjoyed this kayak tour a few years ago and so decided to do it again as we were staying nearby. The tour guide was very good (sorry, forgot his name) The was another 3 kayaks with us on the tour and he did a good job of keeping an eye on everyone. The kayaks are comfortable (add much as they can be) but survivor that they have a back to the seat which really helps. The tour is very relaxing and we did see some manatees. It's really hard to see them but the guide does point them out where he can. Right at the end of the tour as we were approaching the pier a manatee came over to our kayak and pushed it's way under and out the other side. Got a great video! Plenty of parking by the launch spot. Only $5 for the day. Also has a restroom in the car park. We will definitely do another tour in a few years when we're back in the area

Great day at Crystal River. Chris headed out to the manatee viewing area. This 8 foot curious manatee came right to our kayak and stayed with us nudging the kayak. Quite an unexpected treat! Thank you Chris for a great time.
