Hundreds of manatees make Crystal River their home during the colder months on our Manatee Tour (November 14 - March 31), and some stick around all year to enjoy the refreshing water from Three Sisters Springs. What To Expect

Crystal River

This tour is ALL about finding the best manatee spots and utilizing our clear kayaks to give you the best viewing possible without getting wet! Crystal River is known as the “Manatee Capital of the World.” On this tour, we want our guests to experience Manatees in their natural habitat. Crystal River is fed by dozens of natural springs, which makes it is a hotspot during Florida’s “colder” months. Between November and March, hundreds of manatees migrate inland to the springs to seek refuge and stay warm. We can’t control where they might be in the area, but our experienced guides will take you to where they are most active! While manatees are our main focus of this tour, we often see dolphins, fish, turtles, birds, and more! This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure includes a relaxed paddle through Kings Bay to Hunter Springs, Jurassic Springs, and beyond in Crystal River. Check this paddle off your manatee bucket list! Our Kayaking adventure was so fun! It was my first time Kayaking but not my husbands, but the instructor was so kind and helpful I wasn’t nervous at all. We didn’t end up seeing any manatees but it was still so much fun. The water is clear and beautiful and the instructor was knowledgeable and so kind. I highly recommend!

Our family had a fantastic time! The weather was perfect, and our tour guide Shade went above and beyond! I was highly impressed with his customer service, engagement with the clients and knowledge about the area. He had a great sense of humor too!
