Cette excursion consiste à trouver les meilleurs endroits pour les lamantins et à utiliser nos kayaks transparents pour vous offrir la meilleure vue possible sans vous mouiller ! Crystal River est connue comme la «capitale mondiale des lamantins». Lors de cette visite, nous voulons que nos invités découvrent les lamantins dans leur habitat naturel. Crystal River est alimentée par des dizaines de sources naturelles, ce qui en fait un point chaud pendant les mois « les plus froids » de la Floride. Entre novembre et mars, des centaines de lamantins migrent vers les sources pour chercher refuge et rester au chaud. Nous ne pouvons pas contrôler où ils pourraient se trouver dans la région, mais nos guides expérimentés vous emmèneront là où ils sont le plus actifs ! Alors que les lamantins sont notre objectif principal de cette visite, nous voyons souvent des dauphins, des poissons, des tortues, des oiseaux et bien plus encore ! A great time we all had. Got to see many mantees and baby manatees! Our tour guide was great and the glass bottom kayaks made it more exciting. We went in December and we still talk about how awesome the trip was. So much that when we go back to Florida in a few months, we want to go again.

My husband and I went on the GLOW tour. The guide was very personable and patient with those of us who are less experienced kayakers. He kept us moving at a leisurely pace; we never felt rushed. The lights in the kayak aren't very bright so there really isn't a clear view unless something swims right up under your kayak. Unfortunately, we didn't see much and that was a bit disappointing, but I understand that Get Up and Go has no control over that. Regardless, the kayaking alone was worth the cost and we had a good time. I'm glad we got to go on this tour. Next time we'll try one of their day tours. I would recommend Get Up and Go Kayaking.

The manatees showed off and the service from this company was great. Having a clear kayak was an advantage over not clear.
