Cette excursion consiste à trouver les meilleurs endroits pour les lamantins et à utiliser nos kayaks transparents pour vous offrir la meilleure vue possible sans vous mouiller ! Crystal River est connue comme la «capitale mondiale des lamantins». Lors de cette visite, nous voulons que nos invités découvrent les lamantins dans leur habitat naturel. Crystal River est alimentée par des dizaines de sources naturelles, ce qui en fait un point chaud pendant les mois « les plus froids » de la Floride. Entre novembre et mars, des centaines de lamantins migrent vers les sources pour chercher refuge et rester au chaud. Nous ne pouvons pas contrôler où ils pourraient se trouver dans la région, mais nos guides expérimentés vous emmèneront là où ils sont le plus actifs ! Alors que les lamantins sont notre objectif principal de cette visite, nous voyons souvent des dauphins, des poissons, des tortues, des oiseaux et bien plus encore ! We went on Thanksgiving weekend, which was a huge mistake because it was wayy too busy. We saw a momma and baby manatee very briefly. Too many people swimming, kayaks everywhere, kids in our group banshee screaming at the manatees. Not relaxing in the slightest. People were getting territorial and being rude to our group. Our kayaks were so caked with salt they were barely see through. At least our tour guide was nice and informative.

My teenage daughter and I had a great time on the Crystal River-Manatee Season Tour! Our guide, Taylor, took care of every detail. She explained basic kayaking, how to spot manatees, and provided information about other wildlife. As soon as we spotted a manatee, she made sure everyone got a good chance to see them, without rushing us to the next spot. She even took pictures and videos of everyone on the tour with the manatees.

So glad we booked an early morning tour! It appeared to get really busy mid morning. Our tour guide, Josh, did a great job navigating us through while educating us on the wildlife and spotting out manatees. He was knowledgeable, personable, and professional.
