Rivière de cristal

Cette excursion consiste à trouver les meilleurs endroits pour les lamantins et à utiliser nos kayaks transparents pour vous offrir la meilleure vue possible sans vous mouiller ! Crystal River est connue comme la «capitale mondiale des lamantins». Lors de cette visite, nous voulons que nos invités découvrent les lamantins dans leur habitat naturel. Crystal River est alimentée par des dizaines de sources naturelles, ce qui en fait un point chaud pendant les mois « les plus froids » de la Floride. Entre novembre et mars, des centaines de lamantins migrent vers les sources pour chercher refuge et rester au chaud. Nous ne pouvons pas contrôler où ils pourraient se trouver dans la région, mais nos guides expérimentés vous emmèneront là où ils sont le plus actifs ! Alors que les lamantins sont notre objectif principal de cette visite, nous voyons souvent des dauphins, des poissons, des tortues, des oiseaux et bien plus encore ! We were lucky to encounter several manatees, not to mention other wildlife! Our tour guide Connor was friendly and knowledgeable.

Conner was our tour guide and he was very informative. Main reason for doing the kayak was to see manatees. My husband and I were not disappointed. Will definitely do this again on our next vacation to Orlando, Florida.

Overall it was a good trip but since we had to be with the group ppl all the time, we had no time to rest during the kayaking. We were the slowest group which means we kayaked straight in 2 hrs except we had a stop at the springs for about 10-15mins. Clear Kayak is cool and it was a fun experience but not as that special as me and my friend expected.
