Crystal River
This tour is ALL about finding the best manatee spots and utilizing our clear kayaks to give you the best viewing possible without getting wet! Crystal River is known as the “Manatee Capital of the World.” On this tour, we want our guests to experience Manatees in their natural habitat. Crystal River is fed by dozens of natural springs, which makes it is a hotspot during Florida’s “colder” months. Between November and March, hundreds of manatees migrate inland to the springs to seek refuge and stay warm. We can’t control where they might be in the area, but our experienced guides will take you to where they are most active! While manatees are our main focus of this tour, we often see dolphins, fish, turtles, birds, and more! This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure includes a relaxed paddle through Kings Bay to Hunter Springs, Jurassic Springs, and beyond in Crystal River. Check this paddle off your manatee bucket list! We launch at Kings Bay Park located at: 268 NW 3rd St, Crystal River, FL 34428

The tour guide, Cami, was great. She was so patient, kind and knowledgeable. The manatees are about 15 minutes from the launch area. We got to spend over an hour viewing the manatees. Polarized glasses are recommended in order to get the best view.

Rude service. Don’t waste your money! Go with Mock Adventures instead. So thankful we ended up with them. Wish we’d found them before wasting money with this company.

Great afternoon kayak trip with Ryan C.! A beautiful day on the water! Unfortunately we missed the manatees, as the water was still too warm in the gulf, but we had a great afternoon. Our guide, Ryan C was Great! He went out of his way to see that we had a good time! Will be back again in hopes of seeing those lovely creatures…
